Voodoo Queen draws inspiration from classic rock and progressive rock, blending 70s fuzz sounds with more modern bluesy and heavy rhythms to create a captivating musical experience. Their music is a combination of heavy riffs and melodic flights of fancy.

Despite its short history, Voodoo Queen has already made a big impression on stage. In 2023, the band played its first show at Crossroad, followed by several concerts over the next two years. In 2025, Voodoo Queen continued its rise with a concert at the AK Shelter in Nantes and reached a new milestone by participating in its first festival, Cognac Blues Passion. These live experiences confirmed the band’s reputation for its intense stage presence and raw energy.

In 2024, it was also through the Hellfest springboard that the band made a name for itself, already climbing to the top 10 finalists out of nearly 150 bands initially registered.

Voodoo Queen released its first album, Violet Crown, in January 2026. Comprising seven tracks, it marks the dawn of a new chapter: a journey where mystical light mingles with the more enigmatic areas of our sound universe.
